Varna Books Fair 2007
After 80 years Varna becomes the capital of the books and literature again. Till 2nd of April the city will host Saloon of the Book 2007 in the palace of Culture and Sports. The organizers of the event are the Bulgarian Book Association, Varna Municipality and the Ministry of Culture. This will bring back the old tradition in the sea city, which used to host the first national literature exhibit in Bulgaria back in the last century, in 1927. More than 50 publishing companies will take place in the Saloon of the Book this year. They will have stands on an area of 700 square metres. The visitors of the Fair will have the chance to take place in competitions and also will see the oldest library book from collections of literature- goers.
