Bulgaria is famous for its nice sandy beaches, which can vary from lively and sports-facilitated beach stripes to calm and beautiful campsites. The beaches long the Bulgarian Black Sea coast can be located in the resorts, between the resorts or far away from villages, hidden from everything but the sea. No matter what type of tourist you are: family tourist, adventure tourist or the typical sun, sand and sea tourist, you will be happy to find out that there is a variety of beaches, which can answer to your criteria. Some of the beaches offer the traditional facilities like parasols, sun-beds, barbeque restaurants, bungee jumping, trampolines, and bananas riding, while others offer even more attractive sports like parachuting above the sea, surfing, diving or kiteboarding. Either way, just have a cocktail, put the glasses on and enjoy.

The top 10 beaches of the Bulgarian Black Sea are:  

1. Cacao Beach in Sunny Beach (Slanchev Bryag) Resort.
The beach strip of Sunny Beach is more than 8 km long and about 50 meters wide. The sand is fine and at some places natural sand dunes have formed. Clean water and gently sloping sea bottom. Restaurants, bars and many sport facilities are at visitor’s disposal. There are many opportunity for sports including surfing, water skis and parachutes, hang-gliding and banana, sailing, yachts, paddle boats, cutters, scooters, beach volleyball, sports tournaments for amateurs and professionals. Cacao Beach is also famous for the great DJ summer parties, that are hold each summer by the sea.

2. Golden Sands (Zlatni Pyasatci) Beach. 
Golden Sands Resort is very popular with its long and wide fine-sanded beach stripe. The name of the resort comes from the magnificent golden sand, which covers the beaches, stretching 4 km along the seashore. The beach is only 17 km away from the biggest Black Sea city of Varna and there are regular busses to it. For its pure and tiny sands and the hot mineral springs the resort is known as “The pearl of the Bulgarian Black Seaside”. The beach offers many opportunities for entertainment and is perfect for family vacations with kids.  

3. Albena Beach in Albena Resort
Albena is a Blue Flag winning resort, ideal for family holidays. It is located away from the hustle bustle and is calm and green. The beach is up to 500 metres wide and is nice and fine-grained. The sea bottom descends slowly ay a small inclination. It is a nice place for people, who like sunbathing, but try to avoid the heats, as long as air temperature in the summer is around 25°C and there are typical light refreshing winds from the sea. There are many sport entertainments: water skiing, boat-driving banana riding, water skiing, para-sailing, yachting, surfing, jets, underwater fishing, beach volleyball.  

4. Dyuni Beach at Dyuni Holiday Village, near Sozopol
Dyuni Holiday Village is located 40 m south of the city of Bourgas and 7 km south of Sozopol. The 4.5 km long and up to 100 m wide beach is covered with fine golden sand and natural sand dunes. The beach is hilly and forested, the sea is safe and calm, with a gradually sloping bottom, enabling even small children to safely splash about in the water. The bay is naturally sheltered against northern winds, making it an ideal place for all kinds of water sports. From early spring till late autumn the air carries the unique fragrance of both sea and forest. Dyuni Vacation Complex offers 7 tennis courts and a couple of swimming pools at guests’ disposal.

5. Primorsko Beach in Primorsko
Primorsko beach strip offers view to more than 80 holiday homes and summer camps. The 10 kilometers-sandy beach is amongst the longest on the Bulgarian Black sea coast. It is known for a place preferred by young Bulgarians who come here and stay in big number of rest homes, hostels, student dorms and campgrounds. The sand is fine and golden and the sea has a sandy bottom, shallow and warm. Tourist attractions are: going on a boat cruise, yacht cruise, underwater fishing.  

6. Golden Fish Beach at Zlatna Ribka Camp Site, near Sozopol
The beach is located 3 km north of Sozopol, on the road to Bourgas. It is actually part of a camping site, called Golden Fish (Zlatna Ribka) and is mostly visited by surfers. The beach is long and wide enough, and quite calm comparing to the other beaches around. There are fees for entering the beach/camping costs/, parking fees and cost for tents. Very nice place and plenty of space on the beach. The nearby Surf school offers rental of wind-surfs. Top-less sunbathing is allowed, nudists are officially not allowed though. One or two small restaurants around offer fast-food and soups. Hot showers and toilettes are available at the camping. This beach is generally for young adventurers, students and camp lovers. The beach is not guarded.  

7. Smokini Beach, near Sozopol
Smokinite is another camping site, located 5 km south of Sozopol Sea resort. If you are looking for romance, youth atmosphere or even nudism, you can go to this campsite. The sand is fine and clean, the sea water is warm and blue, but not always calm, so beware of waves and underwater currents. The site is a favorite place for many families with caravans and motor homes. The beach is not guarded.

8. Shkorpilovtsi Beach in Shkorpilovtsi
It lies about 42 km south of Varna and roughly 30 km north of Byala. The sand strip in Shkorpilovtsi is 13 km long and 100 m wide and it is the longest and the widest sand strip at Bulgarian Black Sea side. It is equally attractive to the guests of any of the lovely hotels there and to the camping fans. The region is an excellent example of ecologically clean region with wild and virgin beaches. The beach is not guarded.  

9. The Mouth Beach, near Sinemorets
Sinemorets is a little piece of paradise, situated at the south-eastern coast of Bulgaria. Sinemorets is a marvellous resort village with some of the best beaches on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The beaches are in cozy, surrounded by jagged cliffs and encircleed by fresh, green woods. The sand is white and exquisitely fine, the sea water pleasantly warm and clear. The northern Mouth beach is located in a wide open creek, where Veleka River flows. The beach is uniquely beautiful, but is not appropriate for kids, because the sea is sometimes deep with big waves. The beach is not guarded.  

10. Atliman Beach in Kiten
Atliman beach is located to the north of Kiten Sea resort. Kiten is one of the most attractive sites on the southern Black sea coast, where Strandja Mountain meets crystal clear sea debris. Altiman beach is a real paradise for holidaymakers. Fine golden sand, warm sun and calm sea offer great opportunity for a perfect holiday away of the bustle. It is also very attractive for its beautiful sand dunes. In the vicinity of Kiten two more beautiful beaches IYC- Primorsko and Primorsko South can be found. The first one is the famous international youth camp site.

      Hallo, This 10 beaches who you published is good, but not the best. In charts like this is good to publish different types of beaches. One of the best that i know is Silistar beach near to Tzarevo. This is something that if you ever see never forget. If you want look for information and change your top 10. Greetings rom Bulgaria.
