From Annika From Finland, sent on 18 October 2002 Hi! I just want to say few words about Golden Sands. I were there one week with my boyfriend in September, and we had very nice time. We lived in hotel Excelsior, which was very good and clean, the food was cheap and delicious,drinks were great... We visited two times in Varna and it was easy to went there by bus, and its costs only one euro. Well, I can say, that some day we will go back and spend time in Bulgaria more than one week! |

From Tracey From UK, sent on 15 October 2002 just come back today from golden sand crown plaza velika tarnova. It was the last two weeks of the season so they shut the pool and the childrens park early - also food was pretty naff much the same served all the time - the hotel was clean though - although if it rains the lifts tend to break down due to them bein panoramic the electrics get wet. its situated at the top of a slight incline but once you gently stroll down then the resort is flat. Great resort loads of bars restraunts and shops and a beautiful beach just be warned dont go in last two weeks of the season as evreyone is packin things away for the winter. The crown plaza isnt the best in the resort but there are a lot worse at the end of the day its an ok place to get your head down after downing a few beers etc regards tracey |
