I was in Golden Sands (July 2003), i had a very good time there, stayed at Yavor2,good hotel(good service) very friendly people working there ,especially the bartender Stanko he is a great guy.I also made some other friends there ,that has a small restaurant in the basement beside Bonkers(at the entrance to Bowling alley),they took me to a bar in GS where many of the people working in GS goes after work (no tourists there)it was a very nice place .And they showed me many other places outside GS where there was no tourists exept me. They are very good friends to me , they gave me many advices. For example DONT change money in the street they will ripp you off bigtime, and donґt drink to much ,if you do the people think you are an idiot and you can get into trouble.Behave normal and you will have a great time, i had!!!!!!.. I will go there again in August 2004 to visit my friends........

Thinking of booking a late holiday staying at Hotel Dana Palace in Golden Sands. Any comments on the hotel or/and resort? We are a couple aged 40 and have never been to Bulgaria before.

Quick question, myself and the lads were very impressed with the fact that food and beer are so cheap in Bulgaria but do you think Golden Sands would be lively enough for a group of 6 (mainly well behaved) lads? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
