From jane lillford From britain, sent on 26 September 2002 sunny beach is a great place for an inexpensive holiday. the beach is great, the food is great as long as you don't eat in the hotels. i would not go half board only self-catering or if really pushed BB. if you are from the U.K then you will be fine taking sterling don't take $ as we were told to do and also there are plenty of hole in the walls to get money out of but be warned they will charge you Ј1.50 each time. we stayed at the hotel Pomorie 3*, do not stay at any hotel less than 3* as to basic. |

From Juergen From Deutschland, sent on 07 September 2002 Just wanna post a few tips. Restaurants. Try -Yanni- , Condor, Beer Garden and the beach restaurant near Hotel Europa. These are the best. Yanni...before hotel Kuban, instead of going to the beach, just go in the other direction, cross the main road, and after 300m on the left you see an open fireplace and a number of big umbrellas. Yanni is extremely cheap, beer for 20p, coffee 10p, food between 50p and 2 GBP. Condor is slighly upmarket, second cheapest place still, we are four and paid 6 GBP for food and drinks. Try their best wine (cost is 9 Lewa = 3 GBP) if you can afford. Beer Garden in front of Hotal Pomorie (near Hotel Europa). Nice to sit there and one of the best grill in town. nearby in disco LAZUR, a place for the Sedish girls. Beach restaurant near Hotel Europa (forget the name), offers 20% discount in the evening a live music between in a lovely athmosphere. Just pass Europa on the left, go to the beach. Near disco LAZUR, see above. If you can do only book BB not HB, restaurant are incredible and much better than the hotel food. |

From Cat From Deutschland, sent on 07 September 2002 I can tell you so many things about Sunny Beach i donґt know what you want to know ok i tell you the importent things about my holidays and the nightlife it was my 3rd time in Bulgaria and it is so great there Party and Fun much Sun and so one. The most i know from the nightlife is from Bulgarians because i have so many friends there well the most visited club in sunny Beach is the Iceberg everybody knows it it is a small club but you can meet people from all over europe and can have much fun, than is a club near the Hotel Kuban it is the Galaxy music is not for erveryone a little bit hard and so there not so much people there, the next is the new club Mania near the hotel Kuban, too very huge good music you have 2 floors and outside a cafe...than is a club in new nessebar the city club you will not find it when not someone knows where it is so there are not very much tourists more the bulgarians celebrate there and at last i will say something about the Tequilla Bar in old Nessebar very popular it is a ship in the harbour of old Nessebar a little bit small too but very good you can drink, talk, dance or have fun so i think thats enough for know when you want to know more about other things ask me ok?bye |
