From Sunny Beach Pete From UK, sent on 30 May 2003 Hello, my name is Pete Roberts, but many of you may know me better as Sunny Beach Pete. This year, (2003) will be my 15th visit to Bulgaria, and the thrill is as good today as it was all those years ago. Summer or winter, sun or snow, this country is so friendly and it's people will charm you the second you arrive. Great weather, great food, great nightlife, I would not swap 1 week in Bulgaria for 2 weeks anywhere else in the world. Just read the postings on the messageboards, everyone who goes to Sunny Beach can't wait to return. It is HEAVEN.... E N J O Y B U L G A R I A Sunny Beach Pete |

From brenda corke From UK, sent on 28 May 2003 we have been to sunny beach three times and once to albena and loved every visit, we are going back to sunny beach in june this year and staying at the brand new alba hotel, we are hoping it is as good as it looks in the brochure. we stayed twice at the mercury before it was modernised and although it was fairly basic it was very clean and the staff were lovely.but the hotel that we liked very much was th Zvete it was immaculate in every way and the rooms were spotless ,maid service every day with clean towels and sheets when ever needed. The lady that cleaned the rooms put a rose on the table on several occasions and made two beautiful little table mats with a note saying "for you"and left them on the bed for us. i would recommend this hotel to everyone.good food and lovely staff and it really helped to make our holiday very enjoyable. cheshire |

From jim dodds From england, sent on 25 May 2003 gone to sunny beach for the last seven years going back in june. the only thing we have a problem with are the pillows they tend to be very hard so we take a couple of cheap ones wiht us and leave them, this also gives you room to bring things home. there are some greafloor shows for all ages in sunny beach kharn's tent, southern nights (gypsy camp), dolphin to name a few. book them your self or through a taxi driver, if you book through the rep you get a set menu and its dearer. do not be tempted to change money on the street or at exchanges advertising good rates their (robbers)all ways use the hotel exchange or bank hole in the wall. nessebar is 20p bus ride beautiful place |
