From Tina From England, sent on 30 January 2004 I went to Sunny Beach in August 2003. It was quite a nice holiday. Last time I went to Sunny Beach was five or more years ago. I have to say that the place has changed a lot and it has become more modernised. I particularly liked the beach, the food and the night life. Prices were very reasonable. On a few occasions we went to Nesebar which is another beautiful place very near Sunny Beach. My only disappointment however was the hotel I stayed in - Baikal. Although in general it was average, there wasn't any air conditioning and the stuff was grumpy. A piece of advice to all hoteliers in the area: If you want the tourists to return to your hotels every holiday ensure there is air conditioning. Summers are very hot in Bulgaria and it is not a pleasant experience to sweat in the room all night, not being able to have any sleep. Apart form that I would definitely go back to Bulgaria. It is a very scenery country and its beauties are yet to be discovered. |

From leslielovric From england, sent on 23 January 2004 been too sunny beach twenty times over the years in my estimation it is not as good as it was many years ago now with tourism rising in bulgaria not enough information for people maybe not enough reps i know all the places to go have many friends in bulgaria but for the first time holiday maker in bulgaria not enough info from balkan reps people who have been to bulgaria before know the hotels are very basic i suggest 4star upwards any questions bee free to ask thank you |

From Kate Swift From England, sent on 20 January 2004 i have been to bulgaria (sunny beach) in 1998 and 2002 an i have booked to go again in june with my boyfriend the weather was fantastic and it was so so cheap! i have stayed in hotel Saturn and hotel Rila and both were clean and of a high standard i really enjoyded my self and cant wait to get back there. bulgaria is great for young people aswell, i am only 17 an i think its great!! |
