Sunny Beach is my favourite resort in Bulgaria! I've been to all the resorts in Bulgaria and I loved this one the most! Tons of nice hotels, pools and clubs. Also, a very cool beach to hang out and get a tan. Sand is goldish white. Seriously very nice resort place! Hotel I'd recommend, Hotel Neptune Beach. Go there, and gave fun!

Hello,

I just spent two weeks in Sunny Beach, stayed in hotel RIU Evrika and came back to Finland yesterday

This was my first time in Bulgaria and I really enjoyed it. Sunny Beach was a lovely place, very clean and lots of shops on the streets, different kind of restaurants, bars and a few discos. Our hotel was all-inclusive but we still ate out sometimes. Food was very cheap, dinner for two with wine, desserts and coctails about 15e-20e (30-40lev). At luch you could have two pizzas and large beers 7e (15lev). We really liked Barbeque Karibi which is along the beach road. The food was excellent (I recommend chicken filee from the grill) and service very nice. Also Djannyґs near the market area: very nice for lunch and Panorama restaurant at Nessebar.

Our hotel was 3+ stars, but I think it should be at least 4. The reason why itґs only 3+ is that there is no air conditioning, only a ventilation in the bathroom. This did not bother us. We kept the balcony door always open and if it felt too hot we opened the front door as well and the breeze from the sea cooled the room in just a few minutes. Our room vas very nice with mini fridge, satellite tv and a sea-wiev. The hotel is situated in the north part of SB near hotels Bellevue and Victoria Palace. Thereґs a regular mini-train service. Train goes every 15minutes to centrum and costs 1,5lev (75cent).

The pool area was absolutely the best Iґve ever had or even seen! Pool is very large with separated kids area. There is also a water volley area in the pool. The pool area is very nice looking with briges going over the pool and it has a roof teracce with sun chairs. There is a pool bar and near the pool are a snack bar. As I said, the hotel is all-incl. so all food and drinks were included in the price. The hotel has its own beah area with sunbeds and umbrellas and a beach bar.

Food was quite good and it had nice variety. The meals that are included are:breakfast (both buffet and continental 7-12), lunch (at main restaurant 12-14 and at snack bar 12-15), tea time (at snack bar 15-17) and dinner which has two seatings, ours was 20-21.30.

The hotel offered both day-time and nigh-time entertainment for adults, teens and kids. They had water aerobics, darts, water volley, football, rifle shooting, aerobics and different kinds on competioins and games. Every night there was live music and a different show organised by the entertainment team.

We went out a few nights to Lazur and Iceberg. Lazur was very impressive, lots of people and nice atmosphere. The music was not to my taste so we prefferred Iceberg which had a live band every night. We vere five times in Iceberg and saw four different bands which all were good (especially the one who played rock covers such as Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, KISS...). Drinks were really cheap at Iceberg, beer and all local booze 1lev (50cent).

We went to Khans Tent (Hanska Shaktra) which was a really good night out. Food was excellent and the show very nice. The view from the restaurant was absotely fabulous! We also visited Nessebar twice, it was lovely place and a good way to spent and afternoon or even a whole day. Lots to see there. We went there by bus (0,5lev) and once came back with boat. That was really fun, because the boat was really small and it was quite windy... Allthougt I donґt recommend it if you get easily sea sick! The second time we walked from Nessebar to our hotel along the beach. It was a really nice walk, not too long.

All-in-all I really liked Sunny Beach as well as our hotel and just may go back next year.

Greetings from Finland, Heidi
