From PHILL RYAN From ENGLAND, sent on 11 June 2005 stayed at globus hotel 4* in sunny beach. stayed for 1 week and enjoyed every minute. hotel was superb....from room and fascilities to the catering (food)and hotel staff. hotel globus is situated right in the middle of sunny beach and right on the beach itself. it has two superb restaurants, beautiful pool and pool side bar (open 24hrs) with pool table. all pool deck chairs and cushions are free of charge unlike some hotels. rooms are very spacious with rather large beds, beautiful bathrooms and satellite tv. each room also has excellent balconies overlooking sunny beach. if going to sunny beach, i would higly recommend staying in this hotel. perfect setting and surroundings. |

From KEV2 From HOTEL MARVEL, sent on 11 June 2005 HOTEL MARVEL IN SB IS NOT WORTHY OF FOUR STAR RATING,UNLESS YOU EXPECT POOR SERVICE 4LEVS FOR EACH SUNBED . 5LEVS TO PAY TABLE TENNIS, 5LEV FOR INDOOR POLL (VERY COLD) ROOMS ARE OK COMPLETE WITH FRIDGE AND HAIRDRYER. WINE AND SMALL FOOD PACK ON ARRIVAL. MAKE SURE YOU BOOK A POOL VIEW WHICH OVER LOOKS VICTORIA PALACE OR YOU WILL LOOK OUT ONTO THE MAIN ROAD INTO SB OR LOADS OF BUILDING WORK (NONE EFFECTED THE HOLIDAY). FOOD IS BUFFET SERVICE BUT VERY REPETITIVE IE PORK OR VEAL EVERY NIGHT IN DIFFERENT FORMS ! HOTEL CATERES MORE FOR GERMANS, STAFF ON RECEPTION DO NOT UNDERSTAND FLEAS IN BED. NO CHILDRENS PLAYGROUND OR BILLARDS AS ADVERTISED IN BALKAN BROCHURE AND KIDS CLUB MORE THAN 1 HOURS WALK AWAY. LITTLE TO DO IN HOTEL AT NIGHT PLENTY OF BARS 10-15 MINS AWAY. 3 MINS FROM BEACH , BEST TO USE FAC AT VICTORIA PALACE. IF YOU WANT FURTHER INFO CONTACT ME VIA DICUSSION BOARD. |
