From Mandy From UK, sent on 05 March 2006 Hi there, my hubby and I have been to Bulgaria 7 or 8 times now, 5 times to Sunny Beach. We are staying at the Meridian for the 1st time in June this year, so may see you there Sue & Ernie! We love it in Sunny Beach, loads to do, people are great. Highly recommend you try the National Restaraunt on Lotus Street, just round the corner from the Meridan, Best Food and Staff in Bulgaria, if you go, speak to the Manager Nicky and tell him Mandy n Tim recommended you and ask for a free bottle of wine for us recommedning, he will oblige! As I said we have stayed her a few times, best hotel was the Riu Helena Sands but is the quite area of the resort but is a class hotel, couldn't ask for better. A bit nearer to the main resort is the Helios Hotel, again this is a fab hotel and pretty cheap considering it is an All inclusive Hotel. For a pretty cheap n cheerful hotel, try the Pomirie, would suit familys, massive hotel. Also the Fiesta Beach is pretty nice although staff not so friendly as others. Weather is a bit his or miss in June, although we have been hear 3 times in June and have been really lucky but have seen a couple of wicked storms! I wouldn't recommend traveeling in September, can be really windy and quite call, last year was awful. For a great day out go to Nessebar, beautiful place & only 10 mins or so on bus which will cost you about 50 stinkys which is about 15p if that! I have forund once you have been once, you will not want lo look back! |

From deirdre From eire, sent on 19 February 2006 hi all!traveling 2 sunnybeach with husband +3 kids on 5th june,staying at sun village apts/budget travel.i believe its near or beside waterpark so can any1 tell me where in sb that is?we have 3 kids,11/10+3yrs so can u recomed places 2 go n things 2 do with them?any1 going at d same time so we can meet up4 a laugh n a bit of crac?really looking forward 2 hols n meeting new people cos dats wot hols r about isnt it?is it as cheap as chips?60/80cents a pint?cant wait!! |

Is it someone who knows something about that hotel? We have children, and is Sunny beach/ Majestic a good place to travel? We like party, but not to much, and how is the weather from 2nd July - 16 th July ? |
