From Miss Marie L Cooper From England , sent on 05 June 2009 My partner and I have just arrived back from staying at the Palace Hotel In Sunny Beach Bulgaria, I can not praise it any higher! The staff are friendly and very helpful, there is an A1 maid service, there is always a nice clean room to come back to every night and a happy face is always waiting you in their 24 hour bar. the rooms are all overlooking the sea and the view over looking the bay is second to none. fully air-conditioned, through out the hole hotel. Facilities are really good, out door swimming pool and sun beds, 24 hour shop and bar, money exchange (CROWN),2 second walk from the beach and bars and shops.Sky tv in every room. may 2009 |

From Phil Wright From England, sent on 26 August 2008 Myself and my wife have recently stayed at the palace hotel and from our experience we would not reccomend this dive to anyone.The hotel (if you could call it that), was very basic. The room was small with a pathetic attempt of a wet room, which would flood within two minutes of useage. Nothing to step on to dry your feet as you exit shower so tiled floor became slippery so you are treading carefully not to break neck. As for the staff we found that they were very rude and will try and charge for anything they can for example the FREE pool was 5 lev a day to sit on their sunbed. Food was appalling and even though we paid for half board we ate out all the time as kitchen looked unclean from the sights we saw, towels were supposed to be changed every 3 days which I feel is a long time anyway but within the 7 days we were there I don't think they were changed once. We were also accused of drinking from the mini bar which we hadn't done (think the cleaners stitched us up!!) and asked to pay for the drinks we didn't have. All in all you couldn't pay me to stay there again so don't waste your money on this hotel |

From glenn savage and adrian best From england, sent on 23 August 2008 please avoid this hotel staff are truley rude they scam you for everything food is totally rank bathroom has a seally fowl smell and watch your luggage as people steal from the hotel not a very nice hotel so please avoid at all costs and towels were not even washed the whole week we were there |

From kelly From ireland, sent on 27 June 2008 well theres so much to say about this hotel. we have been staying here for 2 weeks in june/july for the last 4 years(maybe more). the staff cannot do enough to for us. they always go out of there way to help us to have a great holiday. brilliant location right on the beach. the rooms are a fair size very clean.the food in the hotel is excellent and very cheap..recommend this hotel very highly:) |

From Charlene Espie & Stephanie Torrance From scotland, sent on 18 August 2007 the staff were so friendly and could not do enough to help from the maids to the manager.great,clean rooms and pool and fantastically located i could not recomend this hotel enough.the locals are the nicest bunch of people i have ever met.I usually go to Spain but i have definetly been swayed over to bulgaria.the bars situated around the hotel were upbeat with loads of life and fun.there was a great selection of food in all the resteraunts also.What a great place.!! |
