From martina From england, chester, sent on 17 August 2006 this is a reply to lindas comment. I stayed at the MAJESTIC HOTEL last month and thought the hotel was absoloutly brilliant. One of the best hotels on the resort. Its in a quieter place but not far from the lively atmosphere. If i had to fault anything it would be the entertainment at night. But there are plenty of bars to go to instead. You get a free towel everyday and cushions on the sunbeds. There is alot of sporty activities in the pool area and dancing. The staff were really friendly. This month i am staying at the same resort but at the FIESTA BEACH HOTEL. It should be good. thankyou thompson for giving us a great holiday. bye xx |

From jennifer From england, sent on 14 August 2006 i went to sunny beach in september 2005, it was my first holiday abroad. i found that there were plenty of bars with music but nobody ever in them, the only bar with anybody in it was millys bar which was a family resturant/bar and as there were 3 adults in our party it was not much fun in there. it rained most of the holiday and since theres no proper sewage sytems the streets flooded and it was imposible to get back to your hotel without wading through the water. the shops there all seemed to sell the same things and all of the make brands and perfume seemed to be fake. the food did not agree with any of our party and we had to stick to jacket potatos the whole holiday. we went to the water park on the outskirts of sunny beach and this was probably the best thing to do in sunny beach but even there the que for food was about 45 minuntes long. i stayed in holtel europa and this have to say was excellent. clean and spaceous rooms, friendly service with smiles, a 24 hour bar and an olimpic sized swimming pool. this had to be the highlight of my holiday untill i asked 1 of the cleaners there if she had a spare plug adapter and she took me to were she slept and i saw the size of the rooms that they slep in it looked like a cubord under the stairs with 3 people sharing and slepping in beds even a child would find it diffocult to sleep in without falling off. seeing where my cleaner had to live really upset me and made me realise how lucky i am and i made sure i left her a big tip. most of the holiday makers there were oap's and there wernt many people our age. but having read so many good reviews on sunny beach since, i think mabey i went at the wrong time of the season. i would like to go back to sunny beach in july just to see weather it was just the wrong time of the season i went and hopefully i will have a good time. do not let my comment put you off sunny beach it is merly my experience of the place i am just warning you that if your young dont go in september as it is the start of the rain season and there isnt much to do when the sun isnt out jenni manchester |

From Sarah From London, England, sent on 09 August 2006 I was slightly worried about going to Sunny Beach after reading stories on websites, but you should not always believe what you read or hear. I came back yesterday and it was fantastic, would definitely recommend it to anybody. Food was nice, drink was very cheap and it was just a great holiday, will hopefully be going back next year!! |
