We enjoyed our stay at the resort, although there was only 2 adults, I think it would be a bit stressful if you had kids tagging along, getting bored as there is not a lot to do for the young ones . Transtfer from airport to hotel was okay and the check in at The Globus went smoothly. On the hotel, spotlessly clean, but heating turned up because of OAP Germans moaning it`s cold !!!! The food selection in the hotel was not the best, but always managed to eat something. Went to Burgas, if anyone is going there, give it a miss ! Most boring place we visited ! If you are going to Sunny Beach, don`t miss the Traditional Bulgarian Evening...magic. The resort itself??? Fed up people trying to get you into pubs, restaurants. Fed up with the family of beggars who seem to be everywhere in Sunny Beach. Sickened to see the way the horses are looking & more than anything I lost the plot when I seen the p*?!k with the bear ! May not sound it , but we did enjoy our time in Sunny Beach, but I wouldn`t say to someone" you must try there", cos I think they would feel let down. |

The orchestra is made up of around 70 students and I wondered if people could advise on where's really cheap to stay in Sunny Beach and if it's recommended for students 18-22?! Thanks |

From shani From england, sent on 20 September 2006 hi i went to bulgaria on 14th augest 2006 for 2 weeks and i stay in "sunny beach hotel" before i went i went on the internet to find out what it was really like (because i had not heared of it before) as i read the comments i was kind of worried but once i got there well i really did change my mind . I LOVED IT the people out there are the kindest people ever and its so cheap u can take out Ј20, and with that you can go on a horse and carrage have a 3 course meal of 4 with drinks (as all cocktails are buy one get one free ANYWHERE) and buy some prezzies and u will still have change i brought a channel bag out there for Ј10 and it was wicked i loved it if i have to tell every one somethink all i have to say is BOOK LONGER! i came back with a wicked tan if your the type for sightseeing theres loads to offer or maybe your the clubbing type there bars round every corner oooo also u can buy 4 purfumes or aftershave for Ј10 around Ј2.50 each if u still dont want to go you can give me your tickets trust me please u will fall in love with sunny beach bulgaria x x x x x |
