From monica de-martine From norway, sent on 26 April 2007 Hi my name is Monica from Norway.Went to Sunny beach for the first time last summer.It was great.Actually i went twice in a month.The hotels were ok.Not the highest standard,but that was our choice.It was cleaned every day and when we gave the cleaning ladyes a nice tip,they went out of their way to please us. keep reading about the bulgarian people being unfriendly.I am not surprised,the way quite a few tourists are behaving.I would be unfriendly too.I did not meet anyone who didnt smile back and were polite.But then I guess you have to show respect to get respect.The people in Sunny beach are working their ass of so that we can have a nice holiday.The food is great as well,if you dare to actually try the bulgarian food and leave the chip butty in England and the Bratwurst in Germany.Going back twice this year as well,once with a friend and once with my family of 6 and 2other families.Cant wait. |

From jemma From ireland, sent on 10 April 2007 was in bulgaria last may...i loved it im goin back on the 16th of july with 3 gilrfriends....id recomend it its lovely one thing tho bulgarian people are very rude(not qall of them hi vanyo)me and my friends got in a fight wit some bulgarian people because they were in our faces...i wouldnt let that put me off tho because we had a good time....a ball infact..... |
