32-metres High Mini Eiffel Tower in Golden Sands
Mini model of the best known symbol of France, the Eiffel Tower, will be constructed on the Black Sea coastline, in Golden Sands Resort. The attraction will be an exact copy of the original, but on a small scale 1 to 10. The tower will be 32 metres high and will cost around 300 000 BGN. The idea of the project belongs to “Golden Sands” joint-stock company. Tons of metals will be input for the construction of the replica. Other good news for the tourist, planning their summer vacation in Golden Sands will be the lower package rates from 30 June to 09 July. Again this year the main visitors are expected to come from Scandinavia, Romania and Russia. Growth from the French market, but drop in numbers of German and Great Britain tourists are expected too. Meanwhile, the hotels in Albena resort complex started operating and are supposed to reach a 99 % operational rate till the end of May. The tourists, expected are mainly Romanians, Belgians, Germans and Britons. The total growth of reservations made so far is estimated at 33 %, compared for the same period last year.
