Albena will Invest 2 Million in Adveture Tourism
Albena will invest 2 million in adventure tourism close to the seaside Albena joint- stock company will invest 2 million BGN in the construction of special site for adventure tourism in the buffer zone of “Baltata”, announced the company. The project plans 10 two floored reed houses with 80 beds to be constructed. The site will attract people willing to spend a night in a reed massif. The resort will also offer towers for surveillance and info center. The “Baltata” reserve is occupying 183 hectares between “Albena” and Kranevo. Over 400 plants, mammals, birds, reptiles can be surveyed in the site. Some of the species are from the Red book of Bulgaria. The plan for management of the “Baltata” reserve and the buffer zone, which is approved from the ministry of the environment and waters, is till 2014. Wooden paths for surveillance and science research are also planned in the reserve.
