A unique 25-century-old wine pot in a shape of women’s head was found by archeologists in an ancient tomb in Boudjaka area, Sozopol. The tomb dates back to the fifth century before Christ. A woman with attractive nice gold finery was buried in the ancient tomb, Christina Panaiotova, member of the Archeological Museum stated. She also noticed that three days before that find, the archeologists found a sword and a gold ring in a nearby tomb. Doctor Christina Panaiotova explained that the place of the excavations is really unique, because it is close to Necropolis from the third century before Christ, which was used as a medieval cemetery during the 10th and the 12th centuries. There is also a church in the area.
