SOZOPOL: BEACHES
Central beach: Located between the Old and the New town of Sozopol. Easily reached, so gets too many people during July and August. Could be impossible to find place to stay, if you go later in the day. The beach is very narrow. If you want to lie under the umbrellas or use a chair you will be asked to pay a fee of 2 $ for the day. If you do not want to use any of these facilities you will be asked to go at the end of the beach.
Top-less sunbathing is allowed, nudists are not allowed here.
Entering the beach is free of charge.
Harmani beach: Located in the New town of Sozopol. This beach is wider and longer than the Central beach, so it is a better option during the busy months of July and August. A big number of small restaurants and places to eat and drink are located nearby this beach.
If you want to lie under the umbrellas or use a chair you will be asked to pay a fee of 2 $ for the day. If you do not want to use any of these facilities you will be asked to go a little further from the Sea where you can stay free of charge.
This beach is served by bay watch people, but be careful because there are underwater streams that could be dangerous. If the waves are too big and the flag is red the bay watch people will ask you not to enter the Sea.
Top-less sunbathing is allowed, nudists are not allowed here.

Gold Fish beach (3 km north from Sozopol): Not far from Sozopol, on the road to Bourgas. This is actually the beach of a camping called Gold Fish, mostly visited by surfers. The beach is long and wide enough, and quite calm comparing to the other beaches around.
Entering the beach/camping costs 0.25 $ per person per day. You can enter it by your car, but this will cost 1.50 $ for the day.
Very nice place and plenty of space on the beach.
The nearby Surf school offers hiring of wind-surf for 4 $ per hour. The wind-surfing tuition costs just 5 $ per hour.
Top-less sunbathing is allowed, nudists are officially not allowed here, but we've seen some at the end of the beach.
Using of umbrella costs 1.50 $ per day.
One or two small restaurants around offer fast-food and soups.
If you like the atmosphere, you can stay at the camping with a tent for just 1.50 $ per person per day. Hot showers and toilettes are available at the camping.
