International Youth Folklore Festival in KavarnaInfoTourism, 12.05.2006From today till May, 14th, under the heading of “Bulgaria in my Heart” the individual and collective children's and youth performances will bring joy to Kavarna inhabitants and the guests of the sea city.
For third year in a row Kavarna will be host of the Bulgarian Youth Folklore Fair, called “Bulgaria in my Heart”, municipality of Kavarna stated.
The international event will meet fans of Bulgarian folklore from all over the world. The organization of the event is managed by Kavarna municipality, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Science and “Pirina” Production House. Co organizers of the Youth Fair are “Bridges” Fondation and “Nestia”Folklore Centre. Part of the Fair will be directly broadcasted on some TV channels, while the whole program of all performances will be repeatedly broadcasted in the course of one year ahead. The media partners, which will announce the folklore event are Bulgarian Telephone Agency (BTA), Bulgarian National TV (BNT), Bulgarian National Radio(BNR), “Trud” Daily and “Darik” Radio.
In the program of the festival there are meetings with famous persons included, also exhibitions, games and competitions, like “Mr. And Mrs Folklore”, also competition for best picture and essay.
