Sunny Beach: Summer Season Starts
The high summer season in Bulgarian largest seaside resort Sunny Beach opens with ceremony on June,7th. The official ceremony for the opening of 2006 summer season starts 8.30 pm in “Kotva” Hotel in "Sunny Beach" resort complex. Organizers of the event are Nessebar Municipality, Sunny Beach joint-stock company and the Association of Owners- Sunny Beach. The start of 2006 summer season will be announced by the municipality mayor- Nikolai Trifonov. Favourite Bulgarian performers- Rushi Videnliev, “Akaga” rock-group, Denica Kuzlova and Genadij Petkov from “Bourgas 75” dance club, Koceto- Kalki, “Celtic Rhythm” dance formation and “Ariana” water ballet will take part in the ceremony. “Sunny Beach” Folklore ensemble will present their special concert- spectacle, called “Mother Bulgaria”. Invitations for the coming event have been sent to 400 people. Although the summer season in Sunny Beach has not started yet, the number of visitors have reached 20 000 so far.
