The Spirit of Bourgas 2012
This year the hot music festival - the SPIRIT of Burgas’ marks its 5th Anniversary and the organizers promise it will be the hugest edition of the fest. On 3rd, 4th and 5th of August beside of the traditional main stage and Jack Daniel’s Rock Stage, at Burgas’ Central Beach there will be three new stages: Solar Dance Arena, BraZZoBraZZie and the Hip Hop stage. Solar Dance Arena, with separate entrance as well (from 6-ti Septemvri Str.), will show the most popular and desired DJs from the last year. The quality and the variety of sound are guaranteed by Lyubo Ursini, resident of the legendary Yalta club, and Lyubo Belchev. BraZZoBraZZie is the successor of the famous Jazz and Blues stage. The plans of Vili Stoyanov, leader of the Brazz Association, responsible for the funniest place of the fest, include absolute and wide variety of styles and performers from the jazz, swing, funk, etno and latino stages The name Hip Hop speaks for itself. Very soon we will announce who are the artists who will rock the fans of the real rebel rhythmic beat. The first edition of SPIRIT of Burgas is in 2008. Thereafter the Municipality of Burgas is a co-organizer and fest is under the patronage of the mayor, Mr. Dimiter Nikolov. Through the years SPIRIT of Burgas brought in Bulgaria: Moby, Faith No More, The Prodigy, Skunk Anansie, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Leftfield, DJ Shadow, Unkle Live, Suicidal Tendencies, Deftones, Asian Dub Foundation, Onyx, Gorillaz Sound System, Skindred, Gotan Project, Clawfinger, The Sisters of Mercy, Kosheen, Bonobo, Alien Industry, The Revenge Project, De Phazz, Dreadzone, Apollo 440, Grandmaster Flash, Andy C and MC GQ, Shy FX, Mark Foggo, Amplifier and many more.
