Location: Nessebar is located in the southeastern part of Bulgarian Black sea coast, 36 km northeast of Burgas. It is in close proximity to Sunny Beach resort.

Nessebar consists of an old town and a new part. The ancient town is situated on a romantic rocky peninsula, connected to the mainland via a narrow isthmus.

The climate and the beach: Nesebar offers two beaches in the new part of the town and a small beach in the Old Nesebar. The beaches of Sunny Beach resort are only 2 km far from Nessebar. The beaches are covered in fine golden sand, and the sea bottom dips slightly, slowly increasing in depth.

Nesebar region has temperate continental climate. The average temperature in the month of July is +23.1°C, and the average temperature in January is +2°C.

Accommodation: The new part of Nesebar offers various accommodation opportunities. The hotels, guest houses and private lodgings are nice and modern.

The Old town offers mainly private rooms and very few family hotels. Many of the houses in the Old town were built during the Bulgarian Revival Period (18th – 19th centuries).

Bars and restaurants: There are numerous restaurants and bars in the new and the old parts of Nesseber. They vary in category and price.

Entertainment: Nessebar is best known for the old town (about 9000 years). Valuable historical monuments and ancient buildings from all stages are preserved in the old town of Nessebar. The largest number and best known buildings date from 11th to 14th centuries almost all of them are churches. They are among the best preserved ones in the Balkan Peninsula.

The old town features a romantic atmosphere: narrow cobblestone lanes, tiny squares, two-storeyed period houses with stone-built ground levels and wooden upper floors jutting above the streets and external staircases, gift shops, pubs, tavern and lovely flower gardens.

Some of the leisure activities available are boat or yacht trips, fishing, rental bikes, water sports, etc.

Transport: Nesseber is connected by bus with Sunny Beach, St. Vlas Resort, Elenite Resort, and Ravda resorts.
