(---.gotadsl.co.uk) posts : 26 Date : 09-07-10 17:46 Stayed at the Alba hotel right in the centre of the resort, had pool view so was not overlooking flower st. once the balcony door was shut it was reasonbly quit in the room stayed BB, in the room was a microwave and a hot plate with a cassarole dish, plates etc. hotel was great no problems. sorry did not go down for breakfast so dont know what that was like. sunny beach has not changed that much since we went in 2008. i did notice that there is more of a police presence and there were not much in the way of traffic on the beach front ie golf buggies and scooters and not one rickshaw. the fruit sellers were the only pain in the butt this year. saw them get a few people with there scam. A firm no and show them the back of your hand gives them the message. was sorry to see that the people with the monkey, snake and small gater were still there. holiday was great as usual 235lev to the pound at the crown most of the trip only went down last 2 days of holiday. so bought handbags which were 40lev for a PRADA and 55lev for a Jimmy Choo fake of course but who cares. meals out avraged about £20 for 2 with drinks. we went to the Amora on Flower st most mornings for breakfast they always asked you if everthing was allright, if not they ask how they can improve it. and yes the next day they would be doing it the way the person had said. great breakfast in there. Daks bar was great the band were really good i never noticed if they watered down the drinks as i drank there wine 2 for 1 great. the waitresses went most evenings. Had a great day in Nessebar food is always good over there husband and i had this five fish salad which was gorgeous in the restraunt next to the old mill. went by the little train out side the Alba, which was fun well cant think of anything else to say at the moment    |
