Photo BTABulgaria's Finmin Simeon Djankov promised no power restrictions along Bulgaria's souther Black sea coast as of next year. Minister Djankov met yesterday in Bourgas with the head of power distribution company EVN and the National Electrical company (NEC). An investment of 40 million levs will put an end to the blackouts in Bulgaria's southern resorts, it transpired after the talks which lasted for over 1 hour. The participants in the talks decided to construct a new power transmission line from the town of Aitos to Sunny Beach resort. Experts have calculated that its construction will cost some 7 million levs. Another 10 million levs will be allotted for the construction of a substation Sunny Beach and the rest of the funds will be used for urgent repair works, change of cables and an overhaul rehabilitation of the other power transmission line Galateya. The repair works on the power lines will start from September 20 and by the end of the year some 40 million levs will be invested in the project, Minister Djankov informed.
