Sporting Developments for Bulgaria with New Varna Stadium

In three years the coastal city of Varna is to have a new stadium and sports complex. The facility will meet all FIFA requirements for a football stadium, Focus Sport agency reported. The project was presented on February 7 in Varna’s municipality. The currently used city stadium will be torn down and the place will be used for the construction of the new facility. Sports Complext-Varna will feature a stadium among other sports facilities. The entire area of the complex is 173 000 sq m.Among the facilities the complex will feature are fitness halls, gym, a hall that can accommodate 30 000 spectators, underground parking, conference rooms, offices and restaurants.A company was founded two years ago to be responsible for the execution of management of the project. German company GMP, responsible for the planning of the Olympic stadium in Berlin and other major similar facilities will draft the project.
