20 M EUR Investments for Varna and Burgas Airports

The concessionaire of Varna and Burgas airports - German consortium ‘Fraport Twin Star Airport Management' announced that in the two airports will be invested 20 million EUR. The funds will be entered for new mounted fire equipment, rewire the electricity grids of the airports and for organising staff training courses, Dnevnik reported. From the daily reminded that this summer the two airports were added to the destinations of 19 new air carriers. Budget carriers Germanwings, Wizz Air, Centralwings, Sky Europe and Norwegian Air Shuttle fly to the two local coastal airports. Burgas airport processed 1,9 million passengers in the period from January to October while Varna's airport traffic was at 1,5 million.
