From Dave & Jan, Spalding,Lincs. From England, sent on 12 August 2004 We stayed at The Astoria Beach Hotel,Golden Sands from 23/0704 to 6/08/04.With Balkan Holidays. Flights on time,Food on flight OK but? Hotel,Rooms cleaned every day,well looked after,food good.Resort,Beach, clean,Cheap,beer&wine good, less than a Ј1 a drink.Food in Restaurant good and cheap.Night Life plenty. Only problem:weather 7 days of rain,which we were informed was unusual for this time of the year. Will we go back::YES |

From Stofken From Belgium, sent on 09 August 2004 I went allready 18!! times to Bulgaria, Goldensands and Albena, do I need to say more?!? People are very friendly, the wether is nice, the beaches are very clean and it's not so expensive! Albena is even more childfriendly than Golden Sands because it takes appr. 200 m! before the sea becomes deep while in Golden Sands after 50 m. you can't stand anymore. I'm going back in September! yeeha!!!!!! |

From Raft From Sweden, sent on 29 July 2004 Came home from Golden Sands about a month ago. It's a great arranged resort but that what it is. Have you heard about the englishman who went to Goldne Sands and when his vacation was over after two weeks he sad to the reception staff - Thank you very much for this holiday it have been great. I nver knew it could be so hot here in Spain in June. That pretty much says everything. Golden Sands, Sunny Beach and Albena could just aswell be in Spain, Greece or any other tourist resort. If that's what you like then you will enjoy. If you wanto see a little of the country i suggest you rent an apartment in varna and have Varna as a startpoint. In Varna they also have great beches and from there you can easily go to the countryside and why not rent a taxi driver for a day (cost approx 25 GBP). By the way, i fell in love in the country and am going down in two weeks to buy a house.... /Raft |

From Asia From Poland, sent on 29 July 2004 It is amzing place.When I was there,I forgot about all my problems.Now,when I am at home I miss Golden Sands:(I will do everything to be there next year!!!There are a lot of great bars,places for dancing.I think that the best is Rocks On The Beach:),and Bulgarian man are so so handsom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

It's nice to say about the golden sands as i worked as a musician in an Indian resturant it was in Wassan samudra the times the chef was Mr Ram singh as now i'm in Oman Muscat Playing music as well as a singer in an Italian restuarant I wish i could get a chance to come back and play music in many styles I sing oldies as well as new songs in English Thanks Tony, |
