My name is Martin Ludford from Cambridgeshire in England. I had a very comfortable stay at the Odessos Hotel part way through a nine day holiday in Bulgaria. The staff were always helpful and friendly, spoke very good English and were pleased and amused at my own efforts in Bulgarian. My room was comfortable and clean with a balcony and part sea views, plus air conditioning. The location of the Odessos makes it an excellent choice when visiting this charming and friendly Black Sea resort. I have no hessitation in recommending the Odessos hotel, and would particularly recommend the hotels comfortable indoor cafe, the choice of cakes was great. Many thanks to all at the hotel. Martin |

From Stephen Cairns From UK, sent on 07 July 2004 I stayed at Hotel Odessos in Varna from June 28 - Jul 05 with three other friends from UK. We had a great time and the hotel was excellent - 1. Location - Hotel location was perfect (5 min from beach and beach-front where all the bars and nights clubs are). 5 out of 5 2. Rooms - The rooms had a genuine sea view, were a good size with balcony, were clean and modern (with air conditioning, tv, shower etc). 5 out of 5 3. Service - Staff were friendly and helpful, both at reception and at the hotel restaurant where the food was good. Also, because we were out at night clubs most nights, we particularly liked the fact that hotel reception was open 24hrs and also that breakfast was available until 11am so we didn't have to get up too early. 5 out of 5 Overall, we all really liked both Odessos Hotel and Varna. I would be glad to recommend Odessos Hotel to anyone planning to visit Varna and I hope to come back sometime in the future. Regards Steve |

The facilities were good, the food in the restaurant was fine. The best thing thing was the staff. They were very helpful and kind. They were very efficient and smiled a lot.
