The International Folklore Festival Bourgas 2011 takes place from 22 to 26 August. It is the oldest festival of its kind in Bulgaria. Groups from Kazakhstan, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Russia, Poland and Bulgaria will take part in the festival this year. And this year the festival will maintain the tradition of opening with a colorful parade on the "Alexandrovska" and "Bogoridi" street in Bourgas. At the official opening of the festival for the 13th time has been awarded the prize "Nestinarka" which is for outstanding contribution in the development of Bulgarian folk song and dance. Еnsembles will present their performances each evening from 20.30 h in summer theater and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on the stage "Snail".
