Black Sea Resort of Primorsko Welcomes its One Millionth Tourist

The Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Primorsko will welcome its one millionth tourist for the 2007 season on August 21. Primorsko mayor Dimitar Dimitrov and municipality management representatives would officially welcome the lucky tourist, Focus news agency reported. The tourist will get presents from the municipality and leading tourism companies at the south Black Sea. The Primorsko municipality is working to develop its recreational tourism. It also offers opportunities for alternative tourism including water sports, excursions to nearby villages and yachting. The main target of Primorsko municipality is to prolong the tourism season by introducing new types of alternative tourism. The municipality has already implemented various projects, including the construction of an airport. It has started construction on a new golf course, a sports complex, an aqua park and tennis courts.
