Sting Presented His New Album During the Concert in NessebarSofiaEcho, 13.06.2006
Sting performed in Bulgaria yesterday as part of his Broken Music tour in Europe.
The concert took place in the seaside resort of Nessebar. The Broken Music tour around Europe started in April 2005. The concert in Bulgaria was scheduled to take place between the other two performances in Cyprus and Greece.
The name of the tour corresponds to the singer's autobiography recently published in Bulgaria. During the tour, Sting will be accompanied by guitar players Dominic Miller and Lyle Workman with whom he has been working for many years. Sting will perform for the first time together with his son John Sumner.
The concert featured covers of his famous songs as well as new tracks from the album to be released this autumn.
This is Sting's second visit to Bulgaria. The former Police lead singer performed in Sofia in 1996.
