Tourists Conquered Bulgaria's Rock Capital of Kavarna

Days before the official opening of the tourist season in Kavarna town (North - Eastern Bulgaria) the entire bed capacity is already booked by impatient visitors. This was informed by the mayor Tsonko Tsonev. The official opening of the season will be held on May 31 with a concert of the Finland band ‘Apocalyptica'. The 3,460 beds in the city are already booked. About 90% of the holidays-makers in Kavarna are from the CIS countries. According to statistics the city of Kavarna is visited by ten times more local tourists now, since it started to host rock concerts. This year mostly Bulgarians will take part in the concert tourism.
