New Golf Course at the Seaside

A new golf course of 200 ha total area will be built near Kavarna, northern Black Sea coast. The first sod is planned to be turned in the middle of March. Legendary Gary Player himself will design the course. The golf course is to be completed by the end of 2007. In December 2005 Kavarna Municipality issued a construction licence for the construction of a holiday complex in close proximity to Kavarna golf course. The whole base's total built-up area will be 12 346 sq. m. According to the investors' project the complex will be able to hold 4000 tourists. It is expected to start functioning at the beginning of 2009.
