We are Grandma's Kitchen 'Simply British' attached to The Royal Central Hotel right in the center of Sunny Beach on the main Nessebar to St Vlas road. We have had some excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and would welcome your comments on this site too. From Phil Howard From England, sent on 04 September 2010 OK I have read many comments on many forum web sites this season, our first in Bulgaria, about Grandma's Kitchen and I am pleased to say the majority are very good. However I would like to leave a few comments for those adverse comments. Yes in June if you asked for an English breakfast we served it with a quarter pound (4 ounces)home made burger, not a 2 ounce imitation sausage. We did this until I could obtain a 'real sausage' which proved difficult, so i decided to make my own, as I am a British ex-butcher. So now no imitations or frankfurters pretending to accompany an 'English' breakfast anymore. And although you don't queue outside to sit in our restaurant, like others I could mention, you will also not be asked to pay to use the toilets, unlike most others. Hope to see those who think they can get a "A better breakfast in a Bulgarian Caf" soon. My policy is "If you don't like it, don't pay for it" Regards Grandma. X |
