Security personnel to ask for money on parking places (too small for this hotel, about 20 places) they tell you otherwise go to where you came! Their behavior is unacceptable .... |

From Octavian Paun From ROMANIA, sent on 25 August 2009 Hello my friends, I came back to this hotel, booking now an apartment , no 5527 (in the glass cilinder placed in front of the hotel, beach view), and doing it for 11 nights. If in 2007 I had SOUTH view (to the pool/beach/Bonita Hotel) this time I arranged NORTH view; meaning to the beach /Center of Golden Sands. What should I say ... I found there what I expected to find ... Apartment 5527 is H U G E ! Exactly like shown in the pictures. 40 sqm living room, 16+ bedroom , 10 bathroom, big balcony (2 doors, both from bedroom and from livingroom), supplementary small bathroom. Cleanliness is the same, food service is the same. VERY GOOD . What they improved since 2007 : if you read my comments from 2007, there was a light that was turning on in each balcony, in evening time; the improvement is that, now, the light turns OFF at 23.00 hrs... That's good, and THANK YOU for this, MARINA GRAND BEACH HOTEL. What I saw different from 2007 : some stores inside the hotel were closed (TATOO); not like I wanted to do a tatoo, or my wife, or my kid :)) Also, the water falls in the swimming pool were off... And that was bad ... My son enjoyed them in 2007 ... One over the other : -booking an apartment (glass cilinder) will offer you more privacy in the balcony (if you know what I mean :))) -also, having an apartment in the glass cilinder will offer you more quiet environment (no 2 rooms near you, but only one, so only one common wall) -having a NORTH view will offer you S P L E N D I D view over the Golden Sands resort (night shots are spectacular ... like LAS VEGAS, trust me !) The same good services inside the hotel and in the restaurants near the hotel (slightly bigger prices than in 2007, but that's normal), less people on the esplanades in Golden Sands (... financial crisis !), but that was good ... What can still be improved : another closet in the bedroom of an apartment would be appreciated (apartments are booked for families ... so lotta clothes ... lotta luggage ... And tehre is PLENTY of space in the bedroom; e.g. in the back of the TV set) Also, some shelves or bathroom furniture, would be appreciated. Guys, GO THERE. |

From Kelly From ENGLAND, sent on 15 August 2009 We had a fantastic time at Marina beach, there was 9 of us 5 Adults and 4 Children. The rooms were fantastic, we loved the huge choice of food and we were made to feel very welcome from all staff, in particular Dessi, Mary, Niki and Eli who we miss terribly! - The lifeguards were fab and looked out for sunbeds for you and made sure that everything was in order. The hotel is situated in an excellent position and we would definetly go back and stay. |

From Marius N From Romania, sent on 06 May 2008 Good things: balcony view, hotel position in the resort and facilities&services provided. Negative things: very thin walls, uncomfortable beds and some of the furniture is old or broken. Food was good, not great. |
