From J Flynn From UK, sent on 03 February 2008 My wife and I stayed at the Berlin for a week last June, was recommended by someone and was a little apprehensive , arrived very late as is the norm with flights from UK to Bourgas . Was initially a little disappointed the 1st morning to find we had a corner room above the entrance so no full sea view but a sea view it was and facing the impressive new marina. The staff here where lovely, very limited english speaking but very polite and helpful. The room was very smart, clean and spacious, not typical BG star rating, deserves higher grading Dining although limited was excellent as was the small pretty pool area/outside dining area, which has lovely view straight out to sea and Sunny beach/ Nessebar. Its an ideal location for the beach, marina and a short walk directly into the centre of town. I would highly recommend a stay at the hotel Berlin, we even went out of our way to have lunch there twice on a second visit to the area in September and had we not now bought an apartment further along in Vlas we would definately stay there again. |
