48-hour Film Challenge in BalchikSofiaEcho, 07.09.2006
Students would take part in a 48-hour film challenge, during which they would have to shoot a short movie, based on two keywords.
The competition would take place in Balchik, as part of the fourth international short film festival, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported.
Such challenges are traditional for the festival. Participants have freedom, concerning the type of movie, as well as concerning duration. Teams should not exceed six people, festival director Tsanko Vassilev said.
The topic and keywords were selected through draw at the start of the challenge, BTA reported. During previous editions competitors had to deal with conditions like comedy- ring and knife, hat and secret, thriller- getting drunk and TV, slap and joy.
Teams from 42 countries are taking part in the festival, BTA reported.
