Vocalist of Uriah Heep Prefers Kavarna to Spain

On the New Year's Eve vocalist of Uriah Heep John Walton will sing in Kavarna (northern Black Sea coast). "The legendary frontman has confirmed his participation in the festive concert," mayor Tsonko Tsonev announced. John Walton has rejected an invitation to visit Spain in order he could join the event in the Black Sea town. He will be accompanied by his wife. Bulgarian bands B.T.R. and Signal will take part in the concert. The mayor of Kavarna has prepared a series of surprises for Christmas and the New Year's Eve. John Walton still remembers the taste of the "kavarma" (stewed meat with spices and vegetables in an earthen pot) and Bulgarian brandy he was treated to last summer.
